Here at Both we are committed to serving you both warmly and with expertise. Our reception and lounge serve your needs daily, and our staff is always happy to answer any questions you may have during (or after) your stay.

Both is located in the heart of Helsinki near shops, restaurants, and attractions, with public transportation available right outside the premises. Whether you’re here to just trial our beds or stay for several weeks on end, we promise you our great location alone will have you come back for more.

Both art and design

Did you know at Both you can also enjoy some classy Finnish art and design? Get ready to be amazed by the creativity and skill of one of Finland’s most famous artists, the Moomin creator Tove Jansson! We’re proud to present several of her authentic drafts from the 1940s.

Not just awesome art: we also have design. Ilmari Tapiovaara, one of the most iconic Finnish designers, is also known as the creator of many classic Artek pieces. Many of the original furniture in the premises were Tapiovaara pieces made in the 1940s. The building even has a namesake design from that period: the Domus chair, named after Domus Academica where Both is located. At Both you can enjoy Tapiovaara’s fantastic paintings in the hallways. We’ve also chosen furniture to especially pay homage to his original works.

All of our rooms have free Wi-Fi access, so you can enjoy both evenings in and rainy days with ease.

All of our rooms come with kitchenettes, and you’ll find basic utensils ready in the room. Speak to the receptionist to borrow some more for cooking.

Cookware

Fluffy, Fifi and Blackie are all welcome too, after all they’re family! Just make sure to talk to our staff first about them.

Pets

Midnight sun & midnight fun.
You can have them both.
