Both will cease its hostel operations starting from 31.8.2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tourism and travel industry has suffered major losses as demand has plummeted. Although the situation in regard to the pandemic is rather good in Finland at present, it is expected that demand for the next few years will remain low until a global solution to the pandemic emerges.

The owner and operator of Both’s hostel business and premises, Ylva, has decided to cease providing hostel services at the location and will instead transform the estate into a long-term living and apartment property. In the future leasing will be handled by Ylva’s property management under the Both Home brand.

Customers who have already made a reservation at the hostel will be provided a full refund for any possible pre-payments or reservation fees. Those who have already made a long term reservation can continue their lease or rent a room via Both Home.
